Detailed description

  Overview

The cabinet-type heptafluoropropane gas fire suppression system, also known as a pre-engineered fire suppression system, is a type of fire suppression equipment that comes pre-assembled with all its components—such as the extinguishing agent storage unit, piping, nozzles, signal feedback devices, and actuation mechanisms—into a complete package. The cabinet-type automatic fire suppression systems manufactured by our company are suitable for unit-independent total flooding fire suppression systems, where one or several cabinet-type fire suppression units protect a single protected zone. The volume of the storage unit, the amount of extinguishing agent charged, and the activation method can all be specifically designed according to the requirements of the particular project. Typically, this system is linked with an automatic fire alarm and suppression control system to provide protection for the protected zone, automatically detecting fires, issuing alarms, and initiating fire suppression actions.

  Fire extinguishing principle

After the cabinet-type heptafluoropropane gas fire suppression system is installed, the system enters automatic operation mode. When a fire occurs within the protected area, fire detectors—such as heat and smoke detectors—transmit fire alarm signals to the gas fire suppression controller. The controller then outputs signals to activate the interlinked equipment and issues an audible and visual alarm. After a delay of 0 to 30 seconds (which can be adjusted according to actual needs), the controller sends a start signal, thereby opening the container valve of the extinguishing agent cylinder assembly. The heptafluoropropane extinguishing agent is then released into the protected area through connecting pipes and nozzles to carry out fire suppression.

  Scope of application

  ● Suitable for extinguishing the following types of fires: electrical fires, liquid fires, fires involving fusible solids, and surface fires on solids. For gas fires, the gas supply must be shut off before firefighting begins.

  ● Suitable for protecting enclosed spaces, typical applications include: fire protection zones containing flammable gases and liquids with explosion hazards; libraries, archives, document and cultural relic storage facilities; oil-immersed transformers, switchgear rooms equipped with oil-filled switches, and emergency generator rooms; as well as telecommunications equipment rooms and electronic computer rooms.
