Detailed description
Overview
The heptafluoropropane fire-extinguishing system consists of components including a cylinder rack, extinguishing-agent cylinder assemblies, container valves, metal flexible hoses, check valves (for the extinguishing-agent pipeline), manifold pipes, safety relief devices, selector valves, signal feedback devices, extinguishing-agent delivery pipelines, nozzles, propellant gas cylinder assemblies, electromagnetic actuation devices, propellant gas pipelines, and check valves (for the propellant gas pipeline). Depending on the specific application requirements, the system can be configured as either a standalone unit or a combined distribution system. It employs a total flooding fire-extinguishing method to provide protection against fires in single or multiple protected zones. The system features advanced technology, high extinguishing efficiency, and convenient maintenance.
The gas fire-extinguishing agent storage cylinders for the piped network heptafluoropropane fire-suppression system are typically housed in a dedicated cylinder room and connected via a piping network. In the event of a fire, the extinguishing agent is transported from the cylinder room to the protected zones requiring suppression and then discharged through nozzles to extinguish the fire. This system is ideally suited for large-scale buildings with multiple protected zones and can simultaneously protect up to eight such zones.
Fire extinguishing principle
When the fire suppression system is in automatic control mode, if a fire occurs within the protected zone, the fire detectors will send a fire alarm signal. The alarm control panel will immediately emit audible and visual alarm signals. Upon receiving two independent fire alarm signals, the gas fire suppression controller will issue a联动 (interlock) command to shut down the associated equipment. After a 30-second delay, the controller will issue a fire suppression command, opening the corresponding solenoid valve to activate the gas. The activating gas will then travel through the activation piping to open the appropriate selector valve and container valve, releasing the extinguishing agent and thereby initiating fire suppression.
Scope of application
● Suitable for extinguishing the following types of fires
● Electrical fire
● Liquid fires or fires involving fusible solids
● Solid surface fire
● Gas fires that can be extinguished by cutting off the gas supply before firefighting.
● Suitable for protecting enclosed spaces; typical locations include:
● Protection zones for fires involving gases and liquids with explosion hazards
● Libraries, archives, records, and collections of cultural relics, etc.
● Oil-immersed transformers, switchgear rooms equipped with oil-filled switches, and premises housing standby generators, etc.
● Communication equipment rooms and electronic computer rooms, etc.
